Anesthesia Safety

Post-operative Period
Pain management, wound protection, nutrition, medication, and activity restriction are part of the healing process. A written care plan and follow-up time are shared when the patient is sent home. The clinic should be notified of any wound opening, bleeding, changes in breathing, recurrent vomiting, or notable lethargy.
